Byker Community Hub

The Streetwise Byker Community Hub based in the heart of The Byker Wall, situated at Byker Sands Family Centre, 19 Raby Cross, Byker, NE6 2FF . This makes it easily accessible to Young People who live in and around the Byker Wall and surrounding areas.

The Streetwise Project Workers offer Young People who attend the Hub a chance to have a say in how they want their sessions to be each week. The Young People like to choose what they would like to eat, shop for health ingredients, prepare the food, cook it for themselves and their peers. The Young People also enjoy engaging in fun activities that include board games, PS5, as well as access to information, advice and guidance around topics that regularly affect Young People around friendships, relationships, sexual health, mental health, exam stress, CV writing and so much more.
